Abstract

The cathedral of Prague is a significant source for the history of medieval Bosnia. It houses a relief bust of Anna of Schweidnitz with the corresponding inscription where within Anna’s title Bosnia and the Kingdom of Dalmatia are mentioned. The author considers the origin of the names of these two lands in Anna’s title from three aspects: real blood relations, the titles of Hungarian rulers and the Slav tradition linked to the Luxemburg house where Anna was married to.
