Vlasi Pilatovci / The Pilatovci Vlachs

Abstract

The Pilatovci Vlachs belong to the Vlach communities which are followed by a small number of indicators and whose history remains in the shadow of greater and more important Vlach groups. The collected information represents an attempt of their emphasis and escape from oblivion. They are connected to the settlements Pilatovci near Bileća. They deal with caravan trade, breeding and work with cattle on contracts, crediting trade and highway robbery.
